Bipolar Mentorship Program Update

***Success Story***

Hi all. Iโ€™m buzzing!. Iโ€™ve just finished mentoring the guy who was experiencing a deep depression. He now feels so much better, and no longer needs to continue the program.

He completed just under four weeks of the five week program, and has come out the other side of the dark tunnel he was previously in. He told me it helped him tremendously to be able to have someone there when he needed it the most. Sometimes all people need is a person to talk to that have gone through similar experiences to themselves.

I now feel elated that Iโ€™ve helped this guy in his time of need. In fact I would say he also helped me, as this has lifted my mood to know Iโ€™ve helped someone. I think sometimes people feel more comfortable opening up to someone that can relate to what they are experiencing. As Iโ€™ve previously said, I’m by far no expert in mental health, but can offer plenty of support, encouragement and a listening ear ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

    • Thank you Ashley, yes it is fantastic! It makes this little project of mine all worth while. In the beginning I said to myself, if I can help just one person, then my job is done ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
